PR over Coffee started as a PR empowerment movement in early 2010. The origin of the name PR over Coffee came about thanks in part to the location of the first meetings, which were at many trendy coffee shops around Austin, Texas. Late in 2010 PR over Coffee took on a more formal existence with speakers and workshops led by experts from media, PR and marketing professions.
PR over Coffee has since become a “safe” place for small business owners, PR students, and other professionals to connect with media experts with backgrounds as diverse as video marketing to crisis communications.
